Yuyu

Yuyu is a self-hosted event platform for the people behind events that need to feel organised without feeling corporate.

What it does

• Public and private events, registrations, and recurring series
• Attendee workflows from sign-up to QR check-in
• Feedback and certificate flows after the event is done
• Multi-tenant instances, so the same system can serve more than one community
• A proper operations layer for the people actually running things

Why I built it

Events usually involve too many spreadsheets, forms, and last-minute messages. I wanted a system that takes care of the boring coordination bits, leaving more room for the actual people and the actual event.

Technologies

Built with Next.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Auth.js, and Material UI. It also has a fairly serious test and deployment setup because event day is not the time for surprises.
